This piece is in very good condition; there is some surface wear and a hairline crack on rim. Acquired from a private collection in Alaska. The collection was built in the early 1960’s by an archeologist and geologist specializing in wear patterns of early New Mexico Clovis points who trained at Eastern New Mexico University under renowned archeologist Cynthia Williams. The owner acquired this pot from the Lewis Collection out of Brea, California.
