57.4g, 30" cord length, shell measures 2.875" x 3". No hallmark, which is traditional for early Native American jewelry. Acquired from a private collection. The owner moved to Tucson from Texas in the early 1960s, and started collecting Indian art soon after. She worked at the old Kaibab Shop downtown, and also partnered in an antique business known as Deja Vu. She purchased her collection from the top galleries and dealers including Adobe Gallery, Museum of Northern Arizona gift shop, Lovena Ohl, The Old Territorial Indian Shop, Russell Foutz, Rex Arrowsmith, Kaibab Shop, Desert House, and Bahti Indian Arts.
