11.25" x 13.5" framed. Appears on Page 315 of Maynard Dixon's American West: Along the Distant Mesa by Mark Sublette. The drawing was done by Maynard Dixon. The letter at the bottom was written by Dorothea Lange. The letter reads, "For Leo—Lizy—from Dorothea—It needs an explanation but I gave it to you last night.” Backside of letter reads, "Merry Christmas." Addressed to Leo Rabinowitz, Dixon's San Francisco lawyer. De-accessed from the Maynard Dixon Museum collection, Tucson, Arizona.
