This pottery is in good condition. There is surface wear, craquelure, and a small fire spot near the outside of the base, as well as the inside. There is one small pop-out area, about the size of a nickel, and a small chip to the side. This pot has been finely restored at the rim. Acquired from a private collection in Alaska. The collection was built in the early 1960’s by an archeologist and geologist specializing in wear patterns of early New Mexico Clovis points who trained at Eastern New Mexico University under renowned archeologist Cynthia Williams. The owner acquired this pot from the Lewis Collection out of Brea, California.
