Longtime Western artist Howard Post won the Best of Show award at this year's Coors Western Art Exhibition and Sale, held January 9 and 10, 2010, in conjunction with the Denver Art Museum's WinterWest Celebration.

"In selecting Howard Post as Best of Show at this year's Coors Art Show, we felt that Howard's work represents a unqiue blending of traditional Western subject matter with a contemporary painting style," says Seth Hopkins, director of the Booth Western Art Museum and a judge for the event. "Moreover, his subject for this painting was very appropriate for the National Western Stock Show and his painting style is well suited for the modern Western city of Denver."

This exhibit and sale featured over 250 works from 60 of today's top Western artists.
