Group of 3 - Acoma Polychrome Jars c. 1940-50s (P3319)

The largest jar measures 3" x 3.5". The mid-size jar measures 2.75" x 4". The smallest jar measures 2.25" x 3". Each pot is in good condition; with some overall surface wear. Acquired from a private collection in Arizona. The owner inherited this from her husband’s grandmother, who was born in Arizona in 1903 and died in 1971. She collected Native American works and had lived on the Apache reservation, outside of Globe, Arizona. Her husband was a deputy sheriff. She had started a coffee shop called Tuttle’s Coffee, and she spoke some of the Apache language.
