Fred Borcherdt - Country Lunch Box (SC91399A-1020-001)

12" x 13" x 8.25". Wood, leather, metal. Excellent condition. Acquired from a private collection in Arizona. The owner purchased this at an auction held by Ballet Tucson, an annual auction that started in 1997, where local artisans create their interpretation of a lunchbox. This box still has the original juniper berries inside. Artist statement: "I wanted to go for something rustic. While at my ranch near Wilcox, I found a nice size juniper log while cutting some firewood and thought "this would make a great lunchbox!"
