The beadwork is in excellent condition; there is some yellow ochre visible on one of the boots. Acquired directly from an old Territorial Arizonan family. The owner's great-grandfather was the owner of the Rupkey Trading Post, which opened in 1900. The Rupkey Trading Post closed in 1930 when the Coolidge Dam flooded. This item was purchased on the reservation while running the trading post.
