This textile is in very good condition; there is some spotting and staining in the center of the weaving. The warp count is 5 and the weft count is 24, per inch. This weaving uses a mixture of both cotton and wool. The red is an aniline dye and has 3-ply cotton yarns. The creamy white is handspun wool. The dark brown is natural handspun wool. The selvage on the ends is dark navy blue, and is more than likely indigo. The warps are 3-ply cotton. Acquired from a private collection in California.
