From the Hollis Randall Williford (1940 - 2007), sculptor, collection. Published in "Glass Plates and Wagon Ruts: Images of the Southwest by Lisle Updike and William Pennington" by H. Jackson Clark, page 177. Caption reads "Will Evans captioned a personal copy of this print: "The pride and joy of the Navajo people is their children. In sickness or in health nothing within the means of the parents is too good for them. Well-to-do families have been known to impoverish themselves in the hiring of medicine men for the healing of their sick children."
