Signed Nellie Bica (1904) Zuni. Nellie was one of the most famous Zuni potters of the 20th century. She learned to make pottery from her aunt and is most noted for her effigy figures of pottery owls She said "I always put babies on my owls. I was one of the first to make owls with legs".
