Acquired out of a private collection in New Mexico. The owner had it since the 1970s. His mother used to own Wind River Trading in Santa Fe, and she was also an artist. This pot has been restored, as it had one longitudinal crack and one v-shaped crack at the rim. It has the typical slip-pops and fire clouds, which are original to the firing. It has minor ethnographic wear to the surface, which is to be expected. Overall, it is in very good condition.
