"To observe the Nightway (Yeibichai) ceremony is an experience to be remembered. Last year, my husband and I were honored to be invited. We watched the dancers, listened to the high-pitched voices, and observed the spectators who were taking part in the ritual. There was an assembled reverence as the Prayer of the Dawn was sung in the chill, clear, Southwestern air. We marveled at the strength and beauty of these people--derived from their closeness to the earth and their rich traditions" - Susan Kliewer
