Model shown is 65 inches tall including her shoes. Cape inspired by circa 1840-60 serape owned by William Randolph Hearst, whose amazing collection of Navajo blankets is among the best in the world. Hearst once accused Fred Harvey of keeping the best blankets for himself. Hearst told him to start sending his best right away. Clearly, this was one of the best. The original blanket is now in the collection of the Los Angeles County Museum of Natural History.
