Less than 5 in edition, please call for availability.One of the underrated pleasures of sculpture is that when it comes to making decisions about how to display a piece, this automatically engages the collector in a creative collaboration with the artist. Brood Band of the 6666 Ranch incorporates this concept by presenting a group of mares and foals that are not affixed to the base, allowing the collector to be the narrator of the overall piece by the way he arranges the horses and puts them into different relationships with each other. The idea underlying this presentation came from watching the constantly changing configuration of the brood band in my own pastures.
