This weaving is in excellent condition and has a very tight weave. We acquired it from the original owner who purchased it from Packard's in January 2006 for $5,000. Included with the rug are photo-copies of the original Packard's tag and a photograph of the weaver. The weaver is the daughter of Ruby White, who is a weaver featured in "The Weavers Way: Navajo Profiles" by Carter Allen. A photo-copy of the page showing Ruby White is also included. It states that Marietta is her daughter.
