This weaving is in excellent condition. It was the winner of the Judges Choice Award at the 2003 Southwest Indian Art Fair at the Arizona State Museum. The ribbon is included with this weaving, along with the original receipt, a form stating the awards from the 2003 show, and a handwritten index card stating "Raised Outline Blue Canyon Design, This rug is woven with hand carded, handspun wool. Some colors are vegetal and some are aniline dyed wool. The design is outlined and raised off the background giving it a 3 dimensional look. Very few weavers do this type of weaving anymore because it is so time consuming. But the finished product is well worth it."
